The game was an excellent example of football and was end to end football. Cullercoats took the lead withe a goal from Bredan Sheriff then Ponteland equalised. The same happened when Cullercoats scored the second from Liam O,Neil, Ponteland equalised and again when Sheriff scored his second for his brace, they equalised. That was the end of the scoring for the first half with the scores at 3-3, Cullercoats could of and should of scored more except for excellent goal keeping and near misses.
However Cullercoats showed what a good footballing team they are in the second half and bossed the possession and scored two further goals from Oliver Symons and Liam O'Neil completing his brace.
A game the U9's deserved to win with the whole team playing excellent football, man of the match performances from Marcus Summers and Bredan Sheriff.
