Match Report - Stocksfield   2   -   5  Cullercoats (under 11s)

Luke Monaghans first half hatrick inspired Cullercoats to their maiden victory at 11aside level.   Last seasons top scorer struck after only 2 minutes following some good work down the right hand side from Lewis Williamson and Josh Irwin released Monaghan who struck a finish across the outstretched arms of the stocksfield Keeper.  Luke soon followed that up when he bundled in An Aaron Dixon corner before Joe Logan made it 3-0 when he headed in a rebound from a fierce Steven Taylor drive that struck the underside of the Bar.   Monaghans excellent turn and shot from the edge of the box put the result beyond doubt as Cullercoats went into the Interval 4-0 ahead.    Some changes were made at half time to give valuable match experience to newcomers Ryan Occonnor and Ethan Dickinson as Cullercoats started the second half slowly.   Stocksfield Managed to pull one back 10 minutes into the second half before hesitation between goalkeeper and defence allowed the home side to further reduce the arrears to 4-2.   Skipper Oliver young settled the away sides nerves with a bursting run and shot that took a wicked deflection off a Stocksfield defender and found the back of the net.   All in all a much improved Cullercoats display with an excellent display from inexperienced defenders Reece Ackinclose and Ethan Dickinson offering plenty of encouragement.
