Cullercoats 6 - 1 Stocksfield

 
The Under 11s produced an excellent first half performance to put the game beyond doubt at half time.   Luke Monaghan’s opening goal after 10 minutes was all that Cullercoats had to show for an opening period of domination before a change of formation and the introduction of an extra striker (Charlie James) changed the game.   Oliver young made it 2-0 with a clever finish during a goalmouth scramble before James struck his first goal since an 8 week injury lay off.  Aaron Dixon added a fourth before James hit the goal of the match when he robbed the fullback, shrugged off another challenge and fired into the top corner.   Experimental changes were made at half time with Keeper Tony Blacklock swapping with Left back Joe Logan in a move which can only be described as entertaining!.   Cullercoats were clearly a different team in the second half and apart from a fantastic chip from Aaron Dixon they failed to take control of the game as Stocksfield hit back with a late deserved consolation.
