Under 11s Match Report V Killingworth

Killingworth  1 - 3 Cullercoats
                                          Barbrook
                                          Williamson
                                          James

The under 11s produced another solid display to win away at Killingworth and defeat their bogey team for the first time.   Cullercoats didnt start the game well and fell behind in the first ten minutes after some poor defending from a corner which the home side took full advantage off.   Cullercoats soon began to find their feet and began to dominate the midfield area and gain most of the possession.   Charlie Barbrook snatched the equaliser shortly before half time when his long range effort took a wicked deflection and deceived the home keeper.   With the scores level at the break Cullercoats faced a tough task second half but Luke Monaghan and Lewis Williamson were outstanding down the right and it was this deadly duo which combined to put the away side ahead as monaghan laid an excellent ball into the path of Williamson who dispatched his first goal of the season.   In truth the home side never really looked like breaking down the cullercoats defence with Oliver Young and Reece Ackinclose in fine form Tony Blacklock wasnt really threatned as Charlie James Scored a late 3rd and his 8th goal of the campaign to wrap up another good 3 points.
