SAFC Foundation Football Fives Tournament
 
Following the success of SAFC Foundation World Cup Fives tournament at Stadium of Light last year, we are pleased to announce a new summer tournament. Unfortunately, due to other Club commitments (concerts etc.) we are unable to use the Stadium this year.
 
Instead we will be holding our SAFC Foundation Football Fives tournament at the brand new 3G facility at Farringdon Sports College on August 17th, 18th and 19th. For more information, please see the attached flyer or get in touch with me on the details below.
 
SAFC Foundation Coaching and Open Trials

SAFC Foundation Summer Coaching courses

SAFC Foundation are hosting a wide range of football and multi-sport coaching courses over the summer holidays for youngsters aged 3 - 14.

Courses will be held throughout Sunderland, Durham and South Tyneside.

FIND OUT THE FIXTURES FIRST: This year’s Fixtures Breakfast will be held at the Academy of Light on 17^th June.  Have breakfast in the player’s restaurant, enjoy a tour of the excellent facilities at the Academy, hear from a guest speaker but most importantly find out next season’s fixtures first.  Tickets are only £10 for Corporate Members or £20 for non-members and can be obtained by contacting jennifer.smith@safc.com or call 0191 551 5153.

FREE SUMMER FUN FOR SCHOOL LEAVERS: An exciting and fun action packed experience is open to secondary school leavers, regardless of background or future plans.  Activities will take place 11^th July for seven weeks including two residential trips and a community fundraising project followed by a celebration event.  For further details of this free National Citizen Service course contact nichola.butler@safc.com or call 0191 551 5053

SAFC FOUNDATION OFF TO EUROPE: SAFC Foundation will be helping Spanish youngsters improve their football and English skills this summer with a special course run in conjunction with Spanish organisation I.N.K. Formación.  Foundation coaching staff will be delivering coaching for youngsters aged 6-16 years in Alicante at a week-long course, running 17^th to 23^rd July. CAROLS OF LIGHT LAUNCHED: Award-winning lyricist Sir Tim Rice launched Carols of Light, an exciting event which aims to raise money for SAFC Foundation and Durham Cathedrals Music Endowment Fund.  Produced by Sir Tim and taking place on the 8^th December, the event will feature appearances from stars including world renowned Opera singer Sir Thomas Allen and architect and TV presenter George Clarke which is expected to be one of the biggest fundraising events of the winter calendar in the region.  For ticket details and further information click here.
