Open Trials at SAFC

SAFC are holding Open Trials at the Academy of Light and holiday football and multi sport courses throughout Sunderland, South Tyneside and Durham.

Open Trials

SAFC Foundation are working in partnership with SAFC Academy to run open trials to recruit any promising players to the Academy and Development Centres.

Trials are open to outfield players and goalkeepers from junior club teams.

Venue: Academy of Light, 10am – 3pm.

Cost:£30

Monday 2^nd and Tuesday 3^rd April

Boys aged 5 – 8 years

Wednesday 4^th and Thursday 5^th April

Boys aged 9 – 16

Soccer Centres

Soccer Centres are open for boys and girls aged 5 – 14. All sessions run 10am – 3pm and cost £15.

Hebburn Comprehensive School (Clegwell Community Association)

Pan Disability multi-sports coaching – Supported by DS Active and Children in Need

Dates: Apr 4^th & 5^th

Times: 10am-1pm

£10 per participant (£5 per sibling)

5-25 years

Little Dribblers – A fun introduction to football for ages 3-5

Venue: Stadium of Light

Dates: Apr 10^th, 11^th, 12^th and 13^th

Times: 10.30am-11.30am

£3 per participant per session

Little Dribblers Big Day Out – Stadium tour, coaching session and classroom activity

Venue: Stadium of Light

Dates Apr 10^th and Apr 12^th

Times: 1pm-3pm

£5 per participant per session

3-5 years

CALLING ALL DAREDEVILS: Fancy covering a distance of around 250 meters at speeds up to 25 miles per hour from the roof of the Stadium of Light, across the Wear, and to the Liebherr yard? April’s Zip Wear event on 21^st and 22^nd April is for real daredevils but places are STRICTLY LIMITED. Registration is just £20 and participants need to raise a minimum of £100 sponsorship to take part, or simply buy a place for £120.
